Legalization 2012
I am so enthralled that the first election I was eligible to be a part of legalized pot, recreational, in 2 states! Proud to be an American at this point, and so happy for those states. This means more than 220 pending misdemeanor marijuana-possession cases will be dropped from those states’ 2 largest counties, King and Pierce. Pot is pure, it’s the cure!

New 2012 study! Cannabis halts metastasis in cancer
Two scientists at California Pacific Medical Center discovered that marijuana may stop the spread of cancer, or metastasis. Scientists Pierre Desprez and Sean McAllister worked together by combining a commonly known compound in cannabis, CBD (Cannabidiol), and cells with high levels of ID-1, which is the gene that causes metastasis. The results were phenomenal when it appeared the CBD had turned off the gene. The cells discontinued to spread and returned to normal. have we found a cure for cancer? Medical evidence is in the process of review by the DEA.

Drug Enforcement Administration admin Michele Leonhart, the woman above, believes that heroin and marijuana posed similar threats to the public’s health, because, in her opinion, “all illegal drugs are bad.” This lady CLEARLY hasn’t the slightest truth to why cannabis was even made illegal in the first place. Marijuana has never been dangerous, only criticized for profit reasons. Keeping Marijuana, even medicinal cannabis, as a schedule 1 drug diminishes my trust for the DEA. I am sorry but there is no way shooting up heroin and taking an innocent cannabis puff can pose anything similar.

THC absorbs quicker than you think
Do you find yourself getting suuper high when you hold your hit in for a really long time? Well you just might be holding your breath for nothing. That dizzy “high” you’re feeling is actually “light headedness” from oxygen deprivation. THC, CBD, and all of the other cannabinoids found in cannabis are absored within the first few seconds of in taking the smoke. Which brings us to the point that “shotguning” isn’t necessarily the greatest method to get you high. Who wants to breathe in THC-less smoke? Just remember potheads, we smoke weed to feel good, not to suffocate ourselves.
There are certain receptors in everyone’s brain called cannabinoid receptors. They are meant to serve as a binding site for THC. So while other receptors are busy collecting other neurotransmitters, they are not disturbed by the flow of THC into the brain. In other words, cannabis does not react with other prescription drugs.
Why do our eyes turn red?
Smoking weed causes temporary vascular dilation. That is, the smaller blood vessels of the body are increased in size for a short period of time, even those of the eye balls. It makes those vessels a little more visible, and often do they appear red. I personally do not get dramatically red “high eyes,” and I’m pretty sure that’s just because not everyone does! I’ve heard somewhere it depends on how hydrated you are, but other than that, i have no scientific explanation :3. But back to vascular dilation; this is actually very beneficial because it helps circulate blood through muscles, the skin, and the heart which, over the years, gets blocked up by cholesterol. Can cannabis help prevent heart attacks in the long run? I would trust it.
Weed grown underwater??
Well what’da think OG stood for? Ocean Grown marijuana. Yess weed can be grown underwater; it’s this fabulous process called hydroponics. No soil is needed because the water is mixed in with nutritious solutions that help Cannabis to grow. Many growers prefer hydroponics because you can easily grow indoors, and essential nutrients are absorbed more thoroughly in this habitat of marijuana. Hence why some of the most valuable plants are OG, —> OG Kush. Amendment
Yes. Senate Bill 420, which was signed into law in October 2003 and took effect on January 1, 2004, imposes statewide guidelines outlining how much medicinal marijuana patients may grow and possess. Under the guidelines, qualified patients and/or their primary caregivers may possess no more than eight ounces of dried marijuana and/or six mature (or 12 immature) marijuana plants. However, S.B. 420 allows patients to possess larger amounts of marijuana when such quantities are recommended by a physician. The legislation also allows counties and municipalities to approve and/or maintain local ordinances permitting patients to possess larger quantities of medicinal pot than allowed under the new state guidelines.

Did You Know?
>The U.S. is the only industrialized nation in the world that prohibits hemp cultivation, due to the DEA’s refusal to distinguish between low-THC Cannabis (hemp)and High-THC Cannabis(Marijuana).
>Hemp is low in THC (delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol->main component in marijuana), high in CBD (cannabidiol), and cannot be used as or converted into a recreational drug.
>Consuming hemp foods will not result in a false positive on a drug test.
>Hemp seed oil contains the highest and most balanced levels of essential fatty acids (EFAs, omega-3 and omega-6) of any seed oil.
>Hemp seed is high in protein and contains all essential amino acids
>Hemp stalks (cellulose) can be converted to biomass energy, and hemp oil can be converted to diesel fuel. A “hemp car” has crossed North American running on 100% hemp fuel.
>Hemp fiber is the longest and most durable natural fiber on earth
>Paper made from hemp never yellows and last for hundreds of years.

Industrial Hemp
Until 125 years ago, 70 to 90 percent of all rope, twine, cordage, ship sails, canvas, fiber, cloth, etc., was made out of Cannabis fiber! It was replaced by DuPont’s newly discovered petrochemical fiber (Nylon) beginning in 1937. By comparison, Cannabis is four times softer than cotton, four times warmer, four times more water absorbent, has three times the strength of cotton, is many times more durable, is flame retardant, and doesn’t use pesticides or herbicides! It is the healthiest plant for human consumption, and for the Earth itself.
Not a single death?
Marijuana is far less dangerous than alcohol or tobacco. Around 50,000 people die each year from alcohol poisoning. Similarly, more than 400,000 deaths each year are attributed to tobacco smoking. By comparison, marijuana is nontoxic and cannot cause death by overdose. According to the prestigious European medical journal, The Lancet, “The smoking of cannabis, even long-term, is not harmful to health. … It would be reasonable to judge cannabis as less of a threat … than alcohol or tobacco.”
Daniel Chong, University of California student left in a holding cell for 4 days, files $20M claim against DEA
This 23 year old dude suffered dehydration, kidney failure, cramps, a perforated esophagus, and hallucinations, all because of a DEA mistake or crude action, who knows?. This wouldn’t be the first time the DEA disappoints deeply. Perfect example of why you cannot really trust this administration. Get it together DEA!!

Don’t know what you’re smoking? Well get interested because different marijuana strains do different things. Smoking up a bowl of Kush first thing in the morning isn’t exactly ideal if you plan on getting out of bed. Other strains, like Green Crack will get you going for the day, which is why it’s the perfect breakfast bowl :p. The bud in the picture is a beautiful nug of Blue Dream.
